Come along and try a fitness session with a focus on physical activity for good mental health. Our experienced instructors will show you how to use the equipment safely and effectively with a fun series of exercises. 

We would love it if you could sign up in advance so our instructor knows how many people to expect and so that we can get in touch with you in the unlikely event of a cancellation.

Am I fit enough?

Absolutely! Our sessions are for all abilities, from absolute beginner to fitness fanatic. We have a large range of exercises so you'll only work to a level that suits you, and you can do as much or as little as you like. 

Where exactly do you meet?

We meet at the eastern end of Millennium Bridge, just by the end of Maple Grove. Just after 2pm we'll walk down the the equipment together.

What shall I bring?

We recommend you bring along some water, and ensure you're appropriately dressed for the weather. You can wear whatever you're comfortable in.

And the session is completely free? 

These sessions are funded by York Mind and form part of their program of activities, so they're free for you to attend. You will need to enrol with York Mind to attend, the instructor will have enrolment forms available on the day or you can enrol beforehand by clicking the link.
