Join us for our second Acomb Ambles group walk, led by our friendly volunteers.

This walk will be slow and sociable, with plenty of opportunity to stop, rest and chat. We encourage people to come along who may feel that other group walks are too long, too fast or too difficult.

This project to encourage local people to come together for a social amble to explore some of the local green spaces and reap the benefits of walkings and fresh air for mental and physical health.

Is this for me?

The whole walk is likely to be around one mile, but you won't need to walk for a mile continously. We'll rest when we need to. You will need to be able to walk independently (including with the use of a walking aid)

COVID-19 Guidelines

We will walk in a maximum group size of six (including leaders) and walks take place entirely outdoors. Group members must maintain a physical distance of 1-2m from other group members during the walk.
