Move the Masses makes a big impact Move the Masses makes a big impact We became a charity in August 2018 and we are so proud of everything we’ve achieved in such a short amount of time. From mass intergenerational workouts at Rowntree Park to filming sessions all over the city so anyone can look online and learn how to exercise in their local open space. We have established walking buddies for over 45 people, bringing the ability to get out of their front door, enjoy the fresh air, to many isolated people. We’ve forged great partnerships with other charities and community groups, running sessions with Park Grove Academy and the Clifton Resident’s Association. And we have seen lots of people regularly get sweaty at Acomb Fire Station for our monthly fundraising circuits. Yes, it has certainly been an amazing year. We wanted to capture that, both to recognise the organisations and volunteers we have worked alongside and the achievements made together, but also to highlight the benefit of removing the barriers associated with taking part in exercise and truly bringing movement, and wellbeing, to the masses. Our impact report says it better than that, go on, grab yourself a cuppa and take a peek.
